I have been a counsellor for more than 20 years, helping people to improve their relationships with others, and improve how they feel about themselves.

I started my career at Relate, where I worked for 10 years, supporting couples and individuals in their relationships. I then specialised in young people and their families and began working with teenagers in secondary schools where I was one of the early pioneers of in-school counselling services. I still work one day a week in a school as a counsellor for teenagers, managing the counselling service and providing training to teaching staff.

Working with teenagers further developed my interest in working with young people, family counselling and parenting skills.

Specialist in family counselling

I am qualified in all aspects of family counselling, including working with teenagers, supporting parents and families and providing relationship support.
